We visited the Louisville Zoo while on our honeymoon. It was a fantastic little zoo! You can walk with some animals and feed others. The zoo isn't as difficult to navigate as others, and the zoo staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our day and this is a great place to visit while in Louisville!

The zoo has done an outstanding job of decorating for Halloween. There is so much more to see than just the animals. A great outing!

We've been going to the zoo since the kids were little, and now that we have grandchildren we're still going. Just to go walk the zoo has a great time, but if you go during one of their special events it's pretty. The Zoo membership may be the best money spent in the city of Louisville because you can go... The habitats were very dirty and dry looking. The animals were also not clean and looked sickly as if they were not receiving proper care.

Our family visits a lot of zoos and are lucky to be close to the St. Louis zoo which is rated #3 in the country and it's free! This zoo had a lot of animals but many of the animals that are Social animals were kept by themselves and the habitats were sad with regards to the animal's comfort and... More

I have lived within walking distance of the Louisville Zoo for over four years, and had never visited until recently. I went for a daytime visit, and I really enjoyed myself! The zoo had a lot of interesting animals and exhibits, although their selection of animals was nowhere near as large as other nearby zoos (most notably the Cincinnati Zoo).... More

As a health minded individual, my mother started a new walking regiment, and what better of a place to walk than the Louisville Zoo. I was surprised to see all the new/updated exhibits the Zoo had to offer. Primarily the African continent addition which included a family of Gorillas. Walking strictly for exercise also brings back my childhood imagination of... More

We had a great time and some exercise visiting the Louisville Zoo, then went to Louisville Mega Caverns afterwards. Enjoyable!

Zoo in November. There were about a half dozen animals not on display because of the cold, but it was still an awesome visit.
