This was a great park along the river walkway. Many were renting bikes and other types of 2, 3 and 4 wheel pedaling machines! We walked across the old train bridge to Indiana, which had some neat coffee and ice cream shops!

Very nice park, playground for the kids, and a nice path for walking for bike riding. Places for picnics and to hang out. Walking distance of downtown.

Louisville has done a good job of reclaiming the waterfront as park. Our favorite part was the bird sculpture garden!

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
