Well done

Our family spent part of Saturday in the area and it was a pleasant experience. Activities for young and old.

I was staying downtown and my daughter was training for a race. She ran, I walked down, not knowing what to expect. It was wonderful to come across this space. How lucky for Louisville residents to be able to use this space by the river for recreation. There are a variety of food trucks right beside it. Loved being able... More

This park is very nice. You will see multiple bridges, and ships as well as a very nice Lincoln memorial. Many places to stop and sit or swing along the water. Very nice.

With time to kill after having brunch at Bristol Bar and Grill my wife and out traveling friends went down to the Waterfront Park. The OHIO her is huge, I mean it must be close to a mile accross at this point. It may only be the 10 longest river in the US but it's volume or flow makes it... More

We went to this park to kill some time before we were meeting family for lunch. I found this park based solely on tripadvisor ratings. This park did not disappoint. The playground was big and entertaining for the kids. You can see the skyline of Indiana across the river.

Spend lots of time with friends, family, and walking or reading by myself. Love the seated swings scattered everywhere...great for stopping to overlook the river or just take a break from walking. Seems clean and well maintained whenever I've gone there. I sometimes attend big events like Thunder Over Louisville or a free concert, and always had a great view... More

It was a beautiful sunny day to walk along the waterfront. Lots of paved sidewalks, a few bathrooms along the way, plus benches and swings and a couple playgrounds. We rented bikes at Wheel Fun Rentals at the foot of the Big Four bridge.

Plenty to do for all ages, great place to spend a day with the family! There's lots of local places to grab a bite, bike rentals, and great views of the Ohio and Indiana skyline (if you walk across the bridge the Louisville skyline looks fantastic at dusk!).

Absolutely beautiful park! Play areas for all ages. Lots of picnic tables and grills. Plenty of room to throw a ball. One of the best parks I've ever been too!

Hosts walking paths, concerts in the summer, bicycle rentals, & the Walking bridge across to Jeffersonville, is a bonus !! I grew up driving over the Kennedy Bridge, and always loving the train bridge. So I'm glad to see it recycled into this great walking path ! Jeffersonville has really added to their end, to dress it up, as well.
