Beautiful place to picnic, relax and enjoy the sun. Bring a piece of cardboard to slide down the grassy hills near by.

Coming from Chattanooga, TN where there is an excellent waterfront, Louisville does not disappoint. Great field where events are held, water features, park with benches, restaurants...this is a great place to spend some time alone, with friends, with family or with a special person.

Waterfront park is a nice place for a stroll along the river. It has Joes Crab Shack for a bite, river boat cruises are available, and a great view of the city. Parking was only $3

Nice spot to get away from the big city. Lots of great views of the river lots of paths and green spaces. Parking can get to be a problem on weekends.

This park is right on the river. There is a walkway that leads to a playground and benches where you can sit and take in the beautiful view.

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
