Good stop for a site see. Good photo opt. Had a memorial to those lost on September 11th. Close to busy intersection. If you take small children keep a close eye on them.

This is one very large bell ... neat to see if you are in Newport and wandering around checking things out. Not something to go out of your way for - a neat attraction if you are already nearby.

Nice symbol of freedom and peace. You are invited to view, touch and ring the bell for peace. There is a memorial to firefighters there as well. It is within walking distance to Newport on the Levee and Newport Aquarium.

I only saw this from the cab riding back into the city! It looked neat and I would like to stop there and check it out better next time!

Wonderful! And 5 minutes next to the Newport on the Levy, great food and the Aquarium. Recommend the World Peace Bell to all in area, what a great experience.

There's not a lot to do here, but it is worth a 10-15 minute stop if you are in the neighborhood to see and read about the bell.

World Peace Bell is the largest swinging bell in the world. The bell swings and rings every day at 11:55 AM. Two miniature World Trade Center towers and a memorial to firefighters lost that day.

I enjoyed seeing this huge bell. It is a wonderful symbol representing peace. The bell is located in Newport, Kentucky within reasonable walking distance of other attractions like the Newport Aquarium and Newport on the Levee. I think the best time to arrive is when the visitor center is open and one can actually go across a walkway to the... More
