Each panel is different and done beautifully. The murals share history of Paducha. Every panel makes you think. The river runs behind the wall. There are sidewalks to take a stroll, and benches for rest. The wind blowing from the river and trees make it...More

I saw the Paducah Floodwall Murals as I walked along the riverfront. I have passed by Paducah on the interstate many times but this was the first time I took the time to go into the downtown riverfront area. The murals tell the history of...More

Right next to the Quilting Hall of Fame and downtown. A wonderful walk and very interesting article work. Every panel will lead to a discussion. Very nice.

Great History of the city of Paducah. Tells of its growth for sure. Enjoy walking the wall. Great place to sit and have lunch. The river is right on the other side. Great place to walk around.

So you have to build a wall to keep the Ohio River at bay... well, why not decorate it with scenes illustrating local history? These murals are appealing, accessible, informative, and very well done - i.e. they're not the sort of amateur-hour local-talent effort that...More

Just a gentle walk from start to finish many panels of history and the great train. On the other side you see the river, it's a great place to sit and watch or have something to eat.

The murals are not real elaborate but they are a welcome change from the ordinary river walls you see. There are several different paintings to give it a unique look also. It's a must see if ever in Paducah!

Walking the flood wall is a must-see activity. Each mural is beautifully done with a bronze plaque explaining the historical significance. Breaks in the wall also allow great views of the traffic on the Ohio River.

It is perhaps 2-3 blocks and is easily walkable.
Can you give me any information about parking in the mural area? We're stopping at a motel near I-24 and would like to drive in and see them the next morning.
