Very cool to learn a bit of history about the town. Old train for kids to climb on. The mural were a great walk after dinner too, and the museum and galleries were close by as well. Convenient location.

These out door paintings show historical scenes of western Kentucky. They remind me of paintings that are seen in small towns and villages in Germany and other parts of Europe. Very well done, at a bigger than life size scale, these wall murals make the Paducah flood wall a destination worth taking time for.

Wonderful art! The murals are a must in visiting Paducah. The river provides a backdrop that sets off the history of the scenes.

Gives a good run down on the history of Paducah. Seems to be kept up pretty nicely. A great spring or fall thing to walk and look around

While visiting the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, we took a stroll along the water walk and old port of town. These murals are well worth taking the time to view....Nice job revitalizing this portion of town.

Beautiful artwork on the flood walls along the Ohio River at the "Foot of Broadway" that documents the settlement along the river and much of the history of the area.

If you enjoy history, you should visit the floodwall murals on the riverfront in Paducah. I have visited them many times. They tell an interesting story. They are well done and well kept. There are several local events and festivals throughout the year to give travelers a reason to visit the murals.

Nice to see the Ohio River & read history of the area on the murals. It was chilly but it was December! Near the historical district to very accessible, lots of parking. A good way to start your tour of Paducah.

The Floodwall Murals are free and open to the public. Each mural is beautiful and at the base of each is a plaque that tells about what that section of the mural represents.
