Hot, hot day but a beautiful view, regardless. The water is pretty, and you can walk right down to it. My husband and kiddos (ages 6, 10, 13, and 16) enjoyed the paved walkway next to the (sometimes kinda stinky) river.

It's a great place to visit and the murals are right there also. It also has historical markers to help explain the history of the area..

We arrived to Paducah early, before the National Quilt Museum was open, so we strolled down to the riverwalk & was pleasantly surprised. It really is beautiful. We walked quite a bit taking pictures of the scenery.

We arrived there around 5. Everything was closed. We enjoyed walking by the river and seeing the paintings on the flood wall.

A great place to park and rest awhile and watch the river and boats go by. You can park in your car or get out and walk around or have a snack on the picnic tables. Pretty and relaxing .
