We have been to this campground several times, but this time has been the best. The lawn was being mowed when we arrived. We got one of the very limited full hook up spots. Sheree at the check in desk is delightful. We are happy...More

This is another state park that we stopped at for the day while traveling along the "wilderness road." The fort / settlement area was really neat to visit and walk around and see. There were plenty of re-enactors there playing the part of settlers from...More

When you are in the Richmond/Lexington area, Fort Boonesborough is a must-see. Especially if you are Daniel Boone fan like we are. The area is also home of Kit Carson. The park has much to offer and is well worth the admission. Get a day...More

Spent about 2 hours at Fort Boonesbourgh. Started with a movie explaining the history. People dressed in period costumes explaining there trade. Very well done. One of the nicest State parks we have been to. Kentucky should be very proud.

The price to see this replica of Boonesborough Fort is way too expensive for what is there. Completely disappointed. Save your money and google the information. Very uninformative and completely boring....btw...I love history and crushed it was so bad.

Worth seeing. Historical site. Self guided tour. Check internet for summer dates of extra shows and reenactments. Staff here are informative and knowledgeable about activities and crafts of the period of the U.S. Revolutionary War. Many stations involve actual demonstrations or interactions.

It was convenient for us to camp here and explore Richmond and Berea. It was full so glad we made reservations. Campers are close together so no privacy. Facilities and staff were excellent

I assume that the beach at the fort closes on Memorial Day, along with all of the pool closings!
