There are few reptile collections that can compare to the diversity of animals on display at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo. Animals on exhibit range from an 18 foot reticulated python, our largest resident, to many types of venomous snakes such as cobras, mambas, cottonmouth, copperheads, taipans and rattlesnakes, to an American Alligator. One of the favorite areas for kids is our Turtle Tracks Area, where both tortoises and aquatic turtles can be seen. Live reptile shows at 1, 3 and 5pm.

There were snakes and some fish, I didn't see any live bees. The gift shop area was nice, lots of cool things, and the bathroom was a hoot! Fed the goats on the roof, kids would like that.Overall worth a quick stop.More

The Kentucky Reptile Zoo does not have fish, bees, or goats. We think you may have been at Wild Things instead, which is just down the road from us. Therefore your review is not actually of Kentucky Reptile Zoo. We'd love for you to come...More

I grew up less than 45 minute from here, and have made trips to the area at least a few times a year pretty much since birth. This is a neat little tourist trap with some gift shopping opportunities, and the chance to see some...More

This little reptile zoo has a good variety of snales, mostly venomous, from all over the world. The staff is very knowledgable. I was lucky enough to see a venom extraction from a very large King cobra named "Puppy". This procedure is a very serious...More

You are lead through the exhibits by a guide. You go into different shed like structures to view different reptiles, and you get a very informational tour.
