Janet and Matthew are so awesome! I had a snafu with reservations and they listened to my concern (my fault completely). Janet even informed by husband and I about the 50th anniversary at the Sky Bridge and assisted with getting questions answered. We ate at...More

This KY park boasts both the Natural Bridge and Sky Bridge. Natural bridge involves several steps and a steep incline. Also has a very narrow access between two boulders. It is a site definitely worth seeing. Numerous hiking trails available, but due to time limit...More

Hemlock Lodge - The room, including bathroom, was a good size and clean. Whether you're on the first or second floor really makes no difference as trees/vegetation blocks any views but it's nice being able to sit outside and enjoy nature. Trails up to Natural...More

Great park and a great hike. The hike is doable for somebody afraid of heights. I did not make it on top though, because of my fear of heights.

We arrived around 9:30 am on Saturday, before the crowds. Such a beautiful place. We enjoyed the quiet, serene walk along the path to the waterfalls, as well as the Indian display on the walk back. We really enjoyed it and plan to return with...More

My wife and I camped at the Middlefork campground for 4 nights. The campground is in a lovely setting along a babbling stream. The shower/bathrooms were like brand new. The showers were to die for with lots of steaming hot water and plenty of heat...More

We hiked and spent the night in one of the cabins. Trails are easy for beginners and have great views. Sky lift was fun, though pricey for what it was. We spent about 4 hours hiking over an afternoon.

Went to Kentucky for a short road trip and wanted to visit the Daniel Boone Forest. Stumbled upon the Natural Bridge State park, and it was AWESOME! Took the skylift, which was $15 round trip, and it was worth every penny. The 30 minute ride...More

Lots of gravel roads through the park and plenty of blacktop roads leading to and from the park. This is a highly favored place for hikers, river rafters and ROCK CLIMBERS.

I'm taking my husband as a present for his graduation and I made a reservation to the Natural Bridge State Resort Park. I'm planning to bring a small dog (I saw the pet fee which is ok). Has anyone stayed at this resort? How's the restaurant food? Thanks for the help!

I have a reservation for a one-room cottage and I have one dog 25 lbs. the other 45 lbs. On website it states small dogs. Will have to cancel my reservation because dogs aren't "small"? Driving in from Columbus Oh and need answer quickly. Reservation is for May 14 & 15. Thank you.

My husband and I are backpackers and are coming to stay at one of Red River Gorge's cabins and then hike to their Squirrel Treehouse. We were planning to spend the day before we leave for the Squirrel Treehouse hiking in the park. What would be the best trail (trails) to take? I've read a lot of reviews about Original Trail and that sounds great but short. Sand Gap sounds interesting but doesn't appear to loop. Suggestions?
