We didn't have much time to go to museums, etc. but walking around downtown was beautiful. So many things one could see within walking distance, the levee, museums, and other attractions.

A very nice downtown, starting with the river front park and walking area. Lots of unique and stately buildings, especially the capitol building. As well as lots of stores and bars too.

The downtown area was not crowded at all when we visited. The streets are almost deserted after dark, and even during the daylight hours, traffic is very light. Driving around town was easy during our visit.

Compared to most cities, Baton Rouge Downtown is pretty dull. The good news is that parking is really cheap, the bad news is that there isn't much to go and see after you park your car. Not many restaurants to visit, nor much interesting architecture.

First visit to downtown Baton Rouge, decided to enjoy the river views. Walked along some parts of the river front. It is evident that local authorities are trying to revitalize this area. During my visit I could see some activities, but I can see there is a lot of potential.

There are so many things to do when you stay in the heart of the city. The Hilton is walking distance to a lot of them.

I am amazed at the progress that Baton Rouge downtown has made over the past ten years, No longer an empty shell, it is vibrant, fun, and surely worth seeing. It has been truly transformed into a great downtown area.

I like downtown Baton Rouge. The river is great and there are many great places to eat and people watch. The bar scene is good and there seems to always be a movie being filmed there. If you are the area make sure to visit downtown!
