Both downtown casinos are cramped, but this one seems the most cramped. I do not like to sit at slots where the rows are so narrow that you are constantly beat on as people try to walk between the slots. Not pleasant. Casino has deteriorated over the years. A major renovation would help. The majority of gamblers do not smoke,... More

Had not been to this casino in years. I can say I will not go back or recommend it. It's very run down and way out of date. It's creepy dark and grungy. No glam or glitter at this casino. All you see is people sitting around trying to get free drinks.

Cheap bar brand drinks, buffet food and a strange parking setup is what I remember about this riverboat casino. I met the captain of the boat which is interesting since it does not sail. Law requires a captain be on board. That's the job I want.

We were looking forward to the experience of gambling on a riverboat on the Mississippi; but this was not nostalgic or fun. We found this casino and its patrons to be very dated. The hotel nearby is missing a great opportunity by not updating this into a hot spot for the twenty-something crowd. Just don't go.

I like going to the casino. But this one was so old and smelled so funky that I could not stay. I staying in Baton Rogue for 3 days for work and spend about 15 minutes inside, and like I said, I love a casino.

The boat is very accessible as it is just on the other-side of the Kidd Museum and right on the levee near where the American Queen docks. It is connected to a good restaurant on land. The food we ate there was good as was the service. They offered a electric golf cart ride down the long walk to the... More

We always have a great time here. The parking is great and the people that patronage this location truly come in for a good time. I like winning, but you have to know it will not always happen. You come out to have a good time, and that you will.

Plan to walk. Service is good but don't expect to win anything. Good parking. Safe. Also has a free valet!
