This place is amazing. What a collection of period furnishing and gives us a look into the past. You get the passion the owner has for this place.

This is a must-see stop and should be the first plantation home to be viewed. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are not only friendly, but very informed and helpful. I visited with my sister, who was born in New Orleans, but had moved...More

Kevin, the new owner of Houmas House, has done such a wonderful job revitalizing this hostoric home and creating such luxurious gardens. Our tour guide, Ms. Debbie, was so personable, even at the end of her day. We even got to tour the owner's quarters!
