We took a family trip on Good Friday and we arrived a little before the first tour took off, the first tour was already sold out, but we made it on the second tour of that day. Plan to arrive early on pretty spring days, for sure. It was worth the wait though, and so much fun for not only... More

Our third visit. This time we were scheduled for the 1:30 tour, after waiting 11/2 hrs, we were loaded @2.00 pm. We were not taken near the Giraffe's, we saw mostly different sheep, Zebras, nalcuy. No giraffes, many animals were very far from the caravan, the speaker was (audio) was not good, could not understand what was being said. Will... More

We did a private tour for 2 back to back 1 hour sessions. We got the sack of food and it was plenty for us to feed all the animals. Our guide got us within camera zoom distance to the baby giraffe that had been born a week and a half before our visit. All the animals were eager to... More

Such a beautiful place and a novel and fun activity for a weekend get-away! Easy drive from New Orleans. Very accommodating to groups. We had a great tour guide and made the most of the beautiful weather that day.

This tour is for the young and the young at heart. We went on the general tour wagon train. It was moderately priced and it costs extra to purchase the animal feed. Feeding the animals is the highlight of the trip. They do offer a private tour at a higher cost option. On the grounds is a huge covered pavillion... More

This is a great family outing, when you go the best way to see everything is to do the private tour. Make you to purchase the sack so you will have enough to feed the animals. Bring your camera.... the kids will have so much fun.

We had never been here before so finally decided to make the drive from Lafayette and was well worth the 2 hr drive. Place is beautiful ....900 acres of land for the animals to roam free on. Being able to interact with the animals like we did was just the highlight of trip. Being able to hand feed a Llama... More

We went to the Global Wildlife Center with two of our grandchildren our daughter-in-law. They had been before. It was a great experience and the weather was perfect for the ride in the open sided vehicle. We had a 5-gallon pale of pellets to feed the animals. Sometime, the animals would try to get their heads into the back of... More

We had so much fun at the Global Wildlife Center, we are considering becoming members! This center is a a very large parcel of open land that has free roaming giraffes, zebras, camels, buffalo, several varieties of deer, llamas, alpaca's, and more. You ride on a wagon being pulled by a tractor and go on a tour that lasts 1.5... More

It's been probably twenty years since I was there last and I didn't hardly recognize the place so many improvements. I went on Mardi Gras day and got there an hour early. When we boarded the train we were told that this tour was sold out so you might call ahead. Wither the purchase of a ticket you also get... More
