Walking tour of an Acadian village. Kind of like an outdoor museum with some interesting buildings and authentic interiors. The gift shop was nice, but small.

We did the self-guided tour. Lovely grounds, too. The place employs people with special needs which is a bonus. Very interesting look at Acadian village life from 1880-1890's. Especially thought the doctor's office was interesting.

We're staying in Lafayette and decided to go to Acadian Village and it was a great idea! It's very authentic old style Cajun lifestyle and we learned a lot!
