The village is a display of early settler's life, a great place to visit for family with kids. Volunteers provide historical details and explanations in costumes and humor. During festivals, you'll also enjoy local live music and dance, with some pretty impressive dancers.

We arrived late in the day and were basically given a personalised tour by the staff member on duty. It was interesting to hear about the Acadian way of life, especially from someone who grew up with that background. Must visit for Lafayette.

Walking tour of an Acadian village. Kind of like an outdoor museum with some interesting buildings and authentic interiors. The gift shop was nice, but small.

This little village was charming on the outside, but I wasn't thrilled by the interiors which were filled with a Mish mash of miscellaneous items and displays. I like history, but, for me the pieces used need to feel harmonious with the culture it's displayed...More
