Our visit to Natchitoches was on a Monday, about a third of the shops were closed. The stores that were opened included an eclectic mix of high end retail to resale items.

The historic shopping district is a great place to spend an afternoon. Great views of the river. Lots of local shops and places to eat. I was really excited to see a Bathhouse Soap store had opened there.

The historic district in Natchitoches is beautiful. Very pleasant to walk, shop and eat. Lots of differerent stores and restaurants.

Fantastic historic area, it's definitely worth the stop and take the time to wander the streets, old buildings and meet the locals.

Restaurants are open. Such as for brunch. I recommend Mama's. Some of the shops open after lunch time.
