I have lived in Shreveport all my life and only recently visited the Norton. I cannot believe more people who live in the area and who visit the area do not make this a priority. The Norton has a wonderful collection of fine art and...More

In my opinion, this is a slightly pretentious and somewhat overbearing art gallery with a varied collection in a pleasing building and with beautiful grounds. I visited the R W Norton Gallery on a hot June afternoon. The building is surprisingly large for its neighbourhood...More

The gardens are GREAT. Inside the art work is very impressive. It is free but you can make a donation. I highly suggest taking a look.

I must admit that we did not go into the gallery. My review is just about the gardens, which were truly lovely. The hydrangeas included a wide variety of colors and were just beautiful. The azaleas were already past their prime, but the multitude of...More

You may want to check out their Facebook site for current displays. Also, the neighborhood has been commenting on the chickens seen over there lately. RW Norton Gallery on Facebook
