The parking was easy and the student union building looked renovated and the furnishings were nice. The technology for presentations worked with ease. The lunch proved an unexpected surprise but one should not be that surprised given that NSU is in the middle of Cajun Louisiana. The food was outstanding. The staff and hosts at the event went out of... More

NSU is best bargain around. It has a beautiful campus, dedicated teachers, many strong programs, size conducive to personal growth of student! Take your college age children & grandchildren to visit! Two of my out of state grandchildren graduated from NSU & are doing well. Another will graduate in Nursing Program in December & another is taking the MCat exam... More

This past weekend June 24 we had the opportunity to tour the campus tour in Manning camp and talk about a first-class operation. This has a big campus feel to it with curriculums in culinary that are second to none. I'll look forward to coming back and enjoying and learning here at Nicholls State University.

Treat yourself to a fine dining experience at a fraction of the costs. Senior students prepare amazing meals. I've attended several culinary dinners and have never been disappointed. Some are obviously better than others... But I've never regretted attending.

My alma mater. A university which is small, providing its educators the ability to interact with its students on a close and personal level, nurturing students to excel and ultimately achieve a degree. I'm considering returning, to achieve another degree.

Besides the good campus grounds this institution has a super great cooking college. The John Folse Culinary Institute provides a taste of Louisiana to its culinary students. Nicholls has superior group of librarians/archivist on staff to help not only students but researchers visiting their local records stacks.

I attend baseball games at the park that adjoins one section of the campus so of course I had to go see the campus for myself. Neat clean and in good order activities are constant for students or visitors (just join in and enjoy) all students that I have met whether on campus or in town are helpful and friendly... More

This is a nice small town school that has a brand new (opened this month) culinary institute and a world class string department.
