I was very nervous when we found the road leading to the park right off of a busy, multi-lane highway. However, once we weaved around into the camp grounds, we were very actually nestled away from the from traffic, noise, and lights. This location turned out to be fantastic! There's even nearby access to the ferry to take you into... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over new years weekend and really enjoyed our time. It is only 12 miles away from the French Quarter area, which took us about 25 minutes at most without major traffic. Each campsite is paved and has a good size "yard" and fire ring/picnic table. The shower/laundry house is standard. A very nice State... More

We stayed here for 1 night in one of there beautiful cabins on the bayou! the cabins are newly built, structured over the water. Great space, bed was comfortable, clean and the heater works great (it got below freezing for us last night) Only issue we had is the cabin smelled fishy when we got there, previous guests probably fished... Stayed in this park early December. We arrived later than expected but when I called ahead, their office stayed open until 9:00pm which was convenient. I had booked a site which I thought was along the canal, but due to the flood wall, there are no waterfront or water view sites. We did have water and 50 amp hookups, our... More

We stayed here for a cheap place for Voodoo Fest. It was nothing short of awesome. They had electric and water on each site. A haunted bridge for Halloween. Clean showers. Never saw a gator. Perfect camping for us!!

Not only is the wave pool a lot of fun, but the picnic area was perfect for my granddaughter's birthday party. The restrooms were close by and clean, there was ample parking for our group, and shade from the trees added a bit of coolness.

This is a good campsite for people of all ages. It has a wave pool area in it but the campers can not get into it for free, but they did have a pool for just the overnight campers. It is not that for from New Orleans. If you would like to see a levee in person then this is... More
