About a mile around the perimeter. So much history and beautiful landscaping. It's where the locals go to walk and enjoy nature.

Very nice cemetary. It's pretty big, you could probably walk for hours and still not see everything. We loved the calm of the place.

The Mount Hope Cemetery is easy to locate. Driving through the property is permitted and plenty of roads. The cemetery is large and there are a lot of old stones on the property. It is well maintained

We are amazed how well this cemetery is keep. Every tree, bush etc was well trimmed. The grass was evenly mowed and it is a beautiful cemetery

Fantastic location as sun is setting. The hills and small ponds make it one of a kind. Large old grave markers and lots of Civil War participants and monuments.

This is a great place to walk and learn a bit about local history. Take one of the tours given by the Bangor Historical Society. They are well worth the money.

I decided to take a stroll at Mt. Hope to learn some history of Bangor. I recognized many names and the grounds were immaculate. Great place to learn some local history.
