Although the Museum was closed this time of year, my husband, two children and I have visited this museum twice. We have enjoyed our experience both times and feel that is a great way to share our history with everyone. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

I love how this museum has a bunch of different, interesting things to look at. It's a good place to visit, no matter what your age is.

Visited with our two great grandchildren. They loved it as they were allowed to climb on certain antique cars and into train cars. Cole's Museum is a super supporter of our Veterans.

On a raining Saturday. The local rest stop recomended this place to us and we deceidced to go. This was not only a great place to visit, The history here on transportation was awestruck. The volunteers were available to speak to and very helpful. I love how the train was brought into the complex and how they even go out... More

This museum is incredible. You can't possibly see it all in one visit even if you have the time, you will experience overload. If you can't find something that interests you here, then you're not interested in anything. And a great bargain to boot.

We went on on a Saturday in October. It was quiet and we were allowed by the office to go out and eat lunch, then return to finish seeing the rest of the museum. It's a bargain at $7.00 for adults, and children under 18 are always free! @jayleno'sgarage is one of our favorite shows; he would have so much... More

Knew we had found the emotional side of Maine residents when entering the museum, we were presented with the story of a handicapped Cole woman complete with her toys, friends' memories, and pictures. Wondered about the quality of the artifacts for a few minutes but soon realized that this museum's goal is showing many aspects of life in this state.... More
