The location is beautiful and a few food trucks to get a bite to eat before going into the venue. I had reserve seating and thought I would have a good view well I was wrong. The seats are folding chairs not that your going to sit much. The seating is level so seeing the stage is impossible. The tickets... More

I've been to several shows here and it's a very well organized operation in my experience. Any outdoor venue lives and dies with the weather, but here the seating area at least is clean stones (pea gravel) so there's no mud. Ground rises from the stage area so it's easy to see, and the setup is great.

I've been here for two different concerts during the last three years. It's a fantastic outside place to see your show. Nice view of the river. There is a fair amount of regular seating and some lawn space also. My only concerns are that the seats are exceptionally close together in terms of the Rose. It is very difficult to... More

Had an amazing time seeing Seether, Volbeat, and Disturbed! Was very disappointed when we were told there would be taxis lining the street after the concert let out (Thanks Dick's taxi...NOT!!!! I tried to arrange round trip accommodations but was told this wasn't possible and given this advice), that there was not a single one! We walked for over 4-5... More

I always enjoy seeing concerts here. It's so nice being out of doors along the Penobscot. The people working there are very helpful and very friendly. They don't charge exorbitantly for water, soda, or beer. I wish they had real toilets, but at least there's no waiting most of the time. And the acts I have seen have been top... More

Love coming to waterfront for concerts. Good music and good times. They need more bathrooms though. Would be better if wine was served in a bigger cup

Went for a festival for the first time. Thank goodness for VIP parking because from what I can tell there is no parking lot otherwise and you flood the area to find parking. The venue is basic and when there is no competition why have anything else? One entrance for the masses and long lines to enter. The "lawn" is... More

Maine is a small and relatively unknown state, so in that sense, this is an awesome concert venue. The sound quality is great, the screens are awesome. The lawn general admission is a great idea if you want to just listen to the music, but if you want a full concert experience, always get pit tickets. It's hard to see... More

Great music. Unorganized, surly staff and security. Stinky port a potties. No view of waterfront. Cheap uncomfortable plastic seats. Expensive tickets. But great show.

Our trip this venue started out with somebody coming over to stop my girlfriend from entering with her very dangerous small purse. We put the purse in the car and returned to go through the remainder of their rigorous security, where they asked if we had any knives or food on us. Once inside, we then started wondering why we...
