Located in the midst of many cemeteries.family graveyards are seen there.pray for the departed souls and be blessed

The Cemetery and small church is on Chittoor road which is only walkable distance from Kacheripady, the junction being called "Cemetery Junction". I have been to the cemetery and church several times to attend the funeral or prayers and recently also I have been there. Just prayed for the souls of relatives and others who passed away and nothing more to do there.

We can visit this Cemetery Church with family for few hour.A good place ,good atmosphere to pass some time.Beautiful painting & architecture monuments

Very old 3 century old, Portuguese, Dutch, British, Italian history behind the cemetery and Te Church, beautiful paintings & architecture, monument, good for history students to understand background, must see place in Ernakulam....

The church located opposite the cemetery and hence wrongly referred to as Cemetery Church is dedicated to the Holy Family instead of a single saint which is the common practice. Neatly maintained inside, it looks a bit ornate which is normal in Kerala churches. The busy and narrow Chittoor Road North and limited parking space make it a difficult proposition to access the church by personal vehicle. However, there is a bus stop just outside if you are travelling by any city bus to/from Chittoor. The ambiance is calm and pleasant. Worth a visit.

This the main cemetery under the St.Mary's Basilica Church under the Ernakulam Angalmaly Archdiocese situated in the Chitoor Road towards Pachalam. The place name itself is as 'Semitherimooku'. This can be accessed via the Chitoor road from Kacheripaddy and stop by the Bus Stop named 'Semitherimooku'. The cemetery is along with the church which is commonly called as 'Semetherimookku Palli' locally.

Cemetery Church is near the beach and is available to view from outside only as it is locked. I am not surer why a cemetery is so popular as tourist attraction. I visited as drivers informed that it is a tourist place.
