Despite the beautifully designed entrance to a small, old building, the overall result is STILL too small!! Bowdoin's Art Museum has a renowned collection. But it is never entirely on display, because the square footage of the museum is minuscule! Imagine the public relations value...More

This little museum is a true gem. They organize magnificent curated exhibits with borrowed items from major collections. I'm not an art fan, but once I get there, I always find the exhibits very interesting and informative.

Walked around the campus! Enjoyed the lush scenery. Look forward to attending one of their future productions. Friends from Maine report their shows are outstanding.

Small physically but with an impressive collection, this museum is worth a couple hours of your time. Including both rotating exhibits and permanent, there will be something new to view every visit across a wide variety of artistic styles.
