We spent about an hour or so at the summit of Camden Hills State Park at the amazing overlook above the bay. There are many hiking trails in the park, but today was very windy and cold. It is very much worth coming up to...More

The views from the top of Mt. Battie are amazing. We were there early in the day and there was no one aroud. You could admire the whole bay and it was stunning.

Yes. The grades are steep buy brief. There's plenty of parking at the summit and the road loops around to the exit.

The road to the summit of Mt. Battie is only 1.5 miles long. There are 25 miles of hiking trails in this 6,200 acre park.
