I visited Portland with some ideas on what I wanted to see. I accidentally fell into this park and it was a gorgeous surprise. This is a great place to visit a unique shore line and see the Atlantic crashing into the shore. My favorite place to hike in the Portland, ME area. I would make this a must see... More

This park is a beautiful walk along the water and you can go down on the rocks near the ocean but there are no lighthouses to see from here. If you want to see the ocean with a decent view it's fine but if you want lighthouses skip it.

It was on my bucket list of stops. We got out and walked. It was great weather to welcome a couple of Texans. Enjoyed seeing your view of the Ocean. Quiet, quaint nice place to walk and talk and just enjoy the Maine coast!!!

The lighthouse was indeed beautiful in the fog. After all, that is what lighthouses are for, though this one is not working. You can walk on the rocks below and on the day we were there the surf was up which made the views trerrific.

The coastline has a beautiful overlook with a Restaurant. A very scenic attraction with the Sea on one side & foliage ! We picnic'ed here with lot of sea gulls around us. Very exciting place to visit if you are in Maine.

Seeing this lighthouse requires some driving but is well worth it if you are touring between Portland and Kennebunkport . The lighthouses have to be viewed from a short distance and are scenic. But the coastline is a stunning collection of flat volcanic rock very similar to The Giants Causway on Northern Ireland's Antrim Coast.

Took a relaxing bike tour around the park from where I stayed. The ocean with its huge wave is fantastic, vegetation is colorful, some fantastic routes to explore and wildlife to enjoy and the whole area is relaxing and inspirational

This a beautiful park with plenty of room to walk picnic and reflect on the majestic views of the Gulf of Maine. Watch ships entering and exiting Portland harbor on the numerous benches. If your a little more athletic you can take in the scene by climbing on the ledges in the waters edge. Just be careful not to go... More

This was a breath of fresh air after visiting Maine Head Light. There are lovely views and the rock formations are fascinating.
