We ate then shopped for the rest of day, before going to airport for flight back. Lots of stores and variety to choose from, like choppy pies, 'll bean, and coach

I can't understand why this is so crowded with tourists. Parking is difficult and prices are high. It is interesting to look in the shops but do NOT expect to find bargains. It is a place for walking and pedestrians have the right of way...More

It is a fun place for shopping. You will see the cars coming from all around the country: California, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, ......, and even from Canada.

Doubtful - Freeport isn't a mall, it's a real town that was taken over by stores. The anchor is LL Bean - check with them. If there's a shuttle or other means of getting there from the Maine Mall, they would know. TIP... More

I have another suggestion. Call LL Bean and ask. I am sure they can tell you what the outlet hours will be on the days you'very asked about.

Hampton Inn visit Challenger the bronze moose. Also Fairfield Inn by Maine Mall. Most of hotels in town are bed and breakfast style and on the pricey side
