We were in Kennebunkport on a Fall Color Tour on a cruise ship. Among other places, we were at Walker's Point. It certainly has a beautiful view for our former President and his family!

Although you can't tour it, you can see the property from the shore and it is very interesting. It is also a very scenic spot all to itself so it is a great stop. We didn't take a tour, we just drove there ourselves, but...More

I drove to Walkers Point to see the Bush’s home. It is protected by guards, but you can pull off the roadway and look.

To be able to quickly visit the home of two of our Presidents was pretty amazing. History is always something to pay attention to. It is an easy drive with places to pull over and use your camera.

Of course the Bush compound is an attraction. Beautiful location for one of our nations first family's. A brief look was more than enough. It was right on our trip down the coast so worth a visit.
