We stop by Saint Ann's Church every time we are in Maine. The grounds are always well manicured to compliment the lovely stone structure overlooking the ocean. We always look forward to enjoying the peaceful setting.

We were lucky enough to go by and see the gates open. We turned around and went in. This church is so beautiful. Old stones, amazing stained glass. The cornerstone was laid Aug 22,1877.

An Irish/English stone church on the coast, with beautiful views and a welcoming congregation. We love this place, and we are sure you will, too.

We really enjoyed walking the grounds and exploring the Church. Rich in history and worth the trip and time spent, we will visit again.

This is a very popular place for weddings. It sits on a wonderful point of land and has great views of the ocean on several sides.

Limited hours, check beforehand so you can tour the church. Also don't park on the grass or you will hear from the groundskeeper.

The church is absolutely gorgeous. When the Bush family is in the area on their estate, I have heard they frequent the church as well. Worth it just to see the gorgeous history

If you are looking for a nice easy walk on a clear d day then visit St. Anns. Trails that are clearly marked offering great views of the harbor and bay and church sites.

You can Google stanns kennebunkport /history and read all about the church and the Prescotts. I recommend going to see the interior. There is also an outdoor "chapel" near the water's edge.
