We booked this on the spur of the moment, and after reading other reviews, it seems we were lucky to find it available. The Schooner Eleanor is clearly a labor of love for the captain and his wife - as a matter of fact, the captain...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour sail aboard the beautiful Eleanor! You are really missing out if you don't take advantage of this beautiful, relaxing, activity while in Kennebunkport. The crew was friendly and interesting. We would definitely repeat this sail when we return to...More

This boat ride was really fun and really relaxing. Basically you go out and sail for two hours but if you sit by the captain as he steers, and sails, and directs his crew to sail, you get to hear his stories: stories about how...More

We had a party of 8 friends...and after a great lunch at Davids...we boarded the Schooner Eleanor for an afternoon sail. Just so happened that this was the day of the full eclipse of the sun. Captain had sextant for us to use but we...More

The sail is quite comfortable. The captain and crew are knowledgeable and accommodating. The boat is gorgeous and the views of th shoreline are breathtaking. We try to go back every year.

I had a great time on the afternoon (4:30-6:30pm) sailing tour. Bring your own snacks and drinks and enjoy the views and fresh air. All staff were friendly and I highly recommend the sail to anyone visiting the area.

A must-do for anyone visiting K-Bunk! What a great sail, boat, weather and service by the crew! And we were able to bring our own food and drink which meant we could tailor the ride to our liking. I also loved that it was 2...More

Nice boat ride. Very casual-no frills and no touristy tour guide stuff. The number of passengers (about 20) seemed perfect. We didn't end up interacting with others, other than one of the staff members.

We did the 2pm tour on a perfect sunny day. The sailing was magnificent. The captain did a great job and he even brought his dog onboard. We booked our tour a few days earlier because capacity is only 12 people.

I would strongly suggest making a reservation well in advance if you have a specific date in mind while you're in town. We had a group of six people and I contacted them months in advance as there was only one day that worked for...More

Last summer, the rate was $50 per person for a two-hour sail (smiling here just thinking about it). They have a web site that has more information, just search for Schooner Eleanor Kennebunkport. It’s nice looking forward... More

I agree with previous comment, it's not a whale watching or fishing boat tour. You're just enjoying the ocean sailing
