It's pleasant to drive by, paddle a canoe or kayak on or gaze out on from the Olde Post Office Cafe, as you have breakfast in Mount Vernon.

You could fish here for days and never catch a fish! The best thing about fishing here is breakfast at the Post Office Cafe!!

Lake Minnehonk is much smaller than the better known lakes in the area: Echo Lake, Flying Pond, Great Pond and Parker Pond. This smaller size means that there are fewer motorboats and personal watercraft (a.k.a. jet skis). So Minnehonk is relatively peaceful, great for kayaking...More
