Nice hike for the young and young families. Easy drive for older crowd or people with young kids and/or pets.

Only found this a couple years ago after going to this area for many years, we were all blown away by amazing beauty of this place, great for hiking or just taking in the views from above the coast!

This is a nice nature trail area with many options. Child friendly and very easy walking. The views up top are phenomenal and there are all sorts of fun tree ID spots and informational boards that make this extra interesting. Once up top you can...More

We drove up to the top - since we're in our 70s, hiking was not feasible. Easy parking mid-morning on a Saturday. Lots of wonderful views, picnic tables for enjoying a cup of coffee and begging out. The only thing that kept this from being...More

After driving by signs for Mount Agamenticus for years on our way to Ogunquit, we finally decided to take the detour and visit. What a nice surprise! The views from the top are really beautiful as you can see for miles around. On a clear...More

Beautiful views all around. The walking trails were varied but the one we chose was a little more level and easy to navigate. One person in our party had recently had a joint replacement and did not have any difficulty.

Now that they have taken down the trees, the views are absolutely amazing. I almost hesitate to write a review as now people will find my hidden treasure!

The map was very easy to follow as we decided which trail(s) we wanted to take. Short and easy, longer and more challenging, there was enough there for everyone.

Yes, on a leash.
Does anyone know if this is the mountain you can see from in front of the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport?

Mt. Agamenticus is only 500 feet tall, so it isn't the largest mountain in the area. Mt. A is southwest of Kennebunkport and southwest of Ogunquit.

My husband and I are visiting the area next week with my two elderly parents, and we want to take them to Mount Agamenticus. They can walk slowly, one walks with a cane. What do you recommend is the best way for them to experience the mountain? Is there a really easy trail we can try to walk? Are there places to park that have a great view? Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you!
