Over 2 miles of broad, sand beach to walk or play on. Great for power walking, couples walk, or just strolling to peaceful sounds of the surf.

I love Oqunquit, but I usually come in the off season. Not so sure that I would enjoy it as much in the summer, when it is so crowded and Route 1 is a parking lot. I suggest that you stay close to the center...More

Walking is the way to get around since parking is scarce. Restaurants are plentiful as are shops and places to stay. The beach is wide and long. Perfect for long walks. Or walk on the Marginal way at high tide. Beautiful.

We really enjoy the sites specially the ocean tides and the traffic at the beach just to our left. Very relaxing leaving me with many new memories. Perfect for people with disability.
