Restaurants, shops and a nice hike around the water with great views and nice homes. We are at the lobster shack which was yummy. Stores close early so if you want to shop go earlier.

Granted Jackie’s Too may be the gemologist Perkins Cove, but the whole place is filled with charm and ambience! A must visit for anyone coming to down east Maine.

A little touristy ....(knickknack shops) but very pretty and relaxing. Barnacle Billy’s restaurant is there in the harbor. The Bush family eat there a lot. It’s fun to sit and watch the sailboats in the Cove, especially after strolling the length of the Marginal Way.

Perkins Cove is a nice little area to walk around; however, the area is mostly a tourist trap and many of the shops are just selling expensive souvenirs (there were a couple selling handmade items though) and the restaurants/food stands are overpriced. My husband and...More

Nice stop....restaurants and gift shops......parking is at a premium. (Very limited ). From this location, you can sign up for a lobster tour....or take a fish charter.

Walk across the cove bridge and visit the hotels across the water. Take pictures of the Cove, from the other side. A sweet New England experience worth visiting.

This is the little town in Maine that everyone pictures from the movies. You can have a quick bowl of chowder and walk around with an ice cream cone. They have lots of little gift shops and candy stores. You can park here and walk...More

I don't know as I don't go in-season. The trolley doesn't run during the week when we're there.
