The trolley is an inexpensive way to negotiate the heavy traffic that is about to descend on the summer in Ogunquit . No need to pay for expensive parking if you are staying in one of the local hotels. Trolley stops are frequent and get you where you want to go in the most efficient manner.

This is a very easy way to travel from downtown, the beach or to Perkins Cove. Very helpful if you have young kids or are carrying a lot of stuff.

Ogunquit in prime time can be very busy with little or no parking unless you park at the beach which will cost you upwards of $20. The trolley costs around $2 and will get you all over for minimum cost.

If you're staying in Ogunguit it's the best alternative to walking. You ate too much, the Marginal Way was beautiful but the walk back would be to tiring. Keep the kids busy for a half hour. It starts raining and you don't want to get wet...

I've visited Ogunquit about 10 times for the past 15 or so years. The trolley is a handy way to get around and avoid paying outrageous parking lot fees. However, the trolley is very sloooow, and can take a long time to go just a mile. I mean like 30-40 mins. To be fair, I've always gone in August when... More

The price of the trolley is much better then paying for parking. On season they run quite often. They have different routes and trolley stops.

The Ogunquit Trolleys are really fun, and a good way to get around Ogunquit - all the way from Perkins Cove (the southernmost stop) to Wells (northenmost). It's also fun to ride just for the heck of it, to get the lay of the land, or to people watch. The cost is so minimal - $2. for adults (less for... More

We took the trolley so that we didn't have to drive in Ogunquit - which is very jam-packed with tourists (like us!) in the summer. The trolley stops are spaced out nicely so that anyone can easily get on and off along the touristy zone of stores/restaurants in the town.
