This is my favorite beach in Maine - terrific for long walks on the sand!!! It is also great for just laying in the sun or wading in the water and enjoying the waves. I have been coming to OOB for over 20 years.

I had to write to say that I have never seen the mountain that is pictured here so I don't know where that was taken. I have lived in Maine and spent many many nights at Old Orchard Beach. It is a small Beach town...More

Lots of things to see on the boardwalk. Rides for people with children. Lots of food and drink places. Not to mention the beach is right there! Beach and boardwalk were kept clean. Depending on when you go, there can be lots of people.

Plenty of things to do for families, couples or just friends. OOB is safe & clean with 7 miles of white sand beaches.

Inexpensive winter getaway. What's to complain about when you're at the ocean? Stayed at the SeaCliff Motel. Oceanfront average room. Great location, jacuzzi tub, perfect spot.

OK.....I know it's common sense, it's Maine so the water is going to be colder than the Maryland/Delaware beaches we're accustomed to....but just HOW cold are we talking here? (last week of July).

Hi Matt, I'm from Delaware so I know the Delaware beaches. I love the Maine beaches! Debbie A is right about the water temps. It might be colder than here, but once you get in and get used to it, it's so refreshing! The... More

There are quite a few right on the beach and directly across the street (30 steps). It really depends on how much you want to spend and what you want. I booked the Copley LaReine Motel this year. It has fantastic views... More
