My wife loves umbrellas and was so happy to discover this tiny museum. She donated several from her collection & the owner/director was very appreciative. Quite the presentation. Peaks Island is a great destination...you can't miss this little shop when you visit

This quaint little museum has all sorts of umbrella covers from all over the world. It made me realize how unique our world truly is.

Umbrella covers. Why would these items - often discarded - be entertaining? Because of the stories of how they came to the museum, because of their former ownership, because the guide describes them in fanciful ways. This was a one of a kind stop,as we were walking. The museum director was well informed,very fun presentation.My family loved the little song at the end of the presentation along with the little shakers.An experience that will give us laughs and stories to come.

Speechless on this one- but I will say the curator is a hoot. It is just a quirky experience worth a look. You won't ever find this experience anywhere.

A grandma with an accordion sings a song about umbrella covers, an 'adult -only' umbrella cover room complete with special lighting and a multitude of interesting umbrella cover stories....for a donation based museum Fun and engaging. Covers from around the world, very interesting. Even had entertainment for the visitors. The proprietor is a scream.

You're on the island so why not stop? Down the block from Brads Bike Shop, which I recommend to help you see the island, this little shack displays an unusual collection of norhing more than assorted umbrella covers- not umbrellas- just the covers.
