We had so much fun on the mailboat cruise! Even though it was January and probably about 10 degrees, this trip was worth our while. Understandably (given the season), there weren't many other people on the ferry. As a result, we could move freely around...More

Great way to spend any time available while in Portland. Ferries running to the various islands in Casco Bay. And inexpensive as well. I had some time to kill before dinner, so why not cruise around Casco Bay. Nice new terminal, plenty of routes and...More

Very nice ferry ride whether you stop in an island or not. Prices very cheap, comfortable ride. We traveled to one of the islands, rented bikes near the dock and rode the whole island, tired out but good feeling of accomplishment.

What a wonderful, inexpensive thing to do with family and friends. The tours take you around the local islands and since they are real mail boats, they stop for deliveries and take people home and such. It was great fun and so interesting to see....More

We did the afternoon mailrun tour; this is about 3 hours. The weather was cold, but that was to be expected. We saw a sea lion, that was unexpected. The views were great. Pets are allowed on the ferry. My wife and I brought our...More

Our fares on the ferry were only $2 each (senior) - enjoyed the 20 min trip to Peaks Island. Interesting to see the Peak Islanders coming home with carts from a shopping trip to Portland. However, the parking rates in the structure adjacent to the...More

We've been visiting friends on Peaks Island for years, and have always enjoyed the good service aboard the ferry, but the prices have escalated beyond inflation and parking fees are now mean spirited!

The views of Casco Bay are beautiful! We went on the Diamond Pass Run. The weather was perfect. It's a great way to see the bay without spending your whole day on the water. The Casco Bay Employees were kind and helpful.

The weather cooperated for a three hour round trip mail, cargo and passenger delivery/pick-up ride on the ferry that loads and off-loads at several islands off of Portland's harbor. Sitting on the upper deck on a sunny, mild day made for a great supplemental tour...More

No need for advance tickets. We simply showed up and bought them. Parking can be expensive, but there are a lot of options. I would recommend looking up parking in advance. We parked for (I thought) $5 and we were too far... More

Hello Bachelor, Yes! This is a fun way to enjoy a gathering in a different setting. I recognize that a bachelor party will be focused on the groom-to-be, but take some time to look around the beautiful islands as you cruise... More
