We walked the trail to find the beach. When we got to the beach, we were disappointed. A small, rocky beach that seemed to be less than ideal for relaxing is what we saw. We did stay for a bit and watched a cormorant dive...More

Visited on vacation looking for an easy access beach in the city of Portland. Beach was very rocky and covered with dried seaweed. Almost too rocky to walk barefoot. There was a grassy area good for walking a dog and a rocky jetty nice for...More

Nice small beach walking distance (20 minutes) from where we stayed. We went there because we booked sunset kayak tour. I was there on 7/2 around 4.30 pm and were not too many people. You can bring your dog after 5 pm.

There are two separate beaches here. One is sand and about 300 yards long while the other is much smaller and covered in both large and small rocks. Since my wife wanted to hunt some beach glass we chose the small rocky one. It did...More

Its bigger than you think it is. Well sometimes it is but the high tide removes a lot of beach. Like I say you have to share the beach with dogs and their owners, but that's ok with me. I love walking here every morning,...More
