We stopped here as we were working our way around Western Maine viewing the various waterfalls. There was plenty of water after all the rain we've been having. Picnic tables are available if you want to sit and watch the water as it cascades.

Stunning views of the canyon! I can't believe we found it - I thought for sure we were lost - but around a couple of bends and lo and behold there it was!

We stopped here on a whim and were glad we did. It was a perfect stop on our drive from the Portland area to Rangeley. Gorgeous setting, cool rock formations, and fun climbing around. We would recommend it!

This is a great place to spend an hour or a day. It's not the Grand Canyon but it is a special little gem in western Maine. Take a minute to look around at the geological formations that created this place. Granite polished smooth by...More

This is a nice attraction for sightseeing, a picnic, or to bask in the sun and spray at the falls. The falls are in a deep gorge with dramatic rock formations carved by the rushing water. There's plenty of picnic areas and rest room facilities....More
