Saw this beach when I was having lunch at Archers. It is little but there are so many interesting seashells! I must have walked back and forth a dozen times and kept finding new and interesting shells / rocks or glass. Quite a bit of sea glass but unfortunately quite a bit of broken bottles too. Nice beach! Just remember... More

We were staying close by for a week so we walked here almost every day. We even saw a rainbow one evening. Liked the large ball made out of railroad spikes. Nice sidewalks, benches and a public restroom. Nice view of Rockland Lighthouse and many boats in the harbor. Clean and safe area!

like others have said, it was small, but the little park with benches and trail are very well maintained. It's a pretty spot. I went to 3 different places for sunrise earlier this week and found that this had the best view over the water. If you're a beach person, don't get your hopes up, but it's a sweet spot... More

The beach at the south end of town almost seems hidden until you come up on the stairs. From the benches above or the beach below it provides you with a nice view of the working harbor.

Best place to go for walking/shopping/being with friends and family. Quaint little town of Rockland. Nothing beats being near the ocean. Small beach, but great atmosphere. Friendly people.

This is a good place for a few photo ops and a short walk. There is a grass area where you can set out a blanket and take in the scenery and they also have a few wooden picnic tables to enjoy a scenic lunch. There is a kiddie park just up the street where many parents take their kids... More

There is a small parking area, picnic tables and benches on the grass overlooking the water, and a walking path that leads to the beach. Many locals use the trail, hard to find parking during the lunch hours.

Near the end of the Rockland Boardwalk. Small beach with sand and rocks with beautiful view of the harbor. Read, swim, picnic. Steps down to beach. Free. Very peaceful. Dogs not allowed during summer period.
