You can try your hand at carving a wooden bird, and if you feel confident enough, buy a little kit to bring home. Includes sufficient amount of bandages for the inevitable boo boos!More

The carvings of birds in this museum's collection are beautiful and very true to life. There were two carvers working when we were there, and they kindly explained their craft and answered our questions. The museum is easy to find and well worth the visit.
