This place is hard to explain. There is a showroom of restored woodstoves, but then things get weirder. A table of old tools and cooking implements, then a Doll Circus room that should be avoided If you are susceptible to nightmares about clowns or Barbie dolls. There's a fascinating nook of miniature steam engines that run on compressed air, a... More

We heard about the Bryant's Stove Shop from a Wood Stove vendor at the Brimfield Antiques Show. We were looking for parts for a 1930's ish King Kineo Wood Cook Stove for our camp. The Bryants and their daughter and son-in law were super helpful and went through their stove part "boneyard" to try and find what we needed... AND... More

Some 30 years ago, Bryant's refurbished an ancient Belgian coal-burning stove my wife had acquired. While the stove was up at Bryant's, we stopped by and discovered this wonderful world of treasures from the past. Vintage cars, stoves from years ago, player pianos that work, and loads of other marvels from the good old days. The collection is the passion... More

This was listed as rainy day activity by the owners of the airbnb we stayed at in Freedom, ME. My expectations were pretty low, but my daughters were super excited about a doll circus. It was incredible. I am pretty sad that the gentleman who put it all together wasn't there to give us a tour. His daughter lead us... More

While visiting friends on a rainy and 63-degree day in August in Maine, they took us to this out-of-the-way museum. The collection of stuff and the genius mind that put it all together will blow your mind! The accumulation of obsolete piano rolls is nothing compared to the collection of antique implements that play them as well as a plethora... More

I can't really describe this place, it's unique, interesting and bizarre all at the same time. But they have lots of cool antique cars, toys, and musical instruments. My kids are 10 and 7, and I wasn't sure what they would think of it. But they seemed to really enjoy themselves. And the people that own it are really nice.

Discovered by accident when we needed a stove part re-chromed, the toy and mechanical music machine collection must be seen and experienced to be believed! It's a family-owned treasure trove of player pianos, hurry-gurdies, calliopes, stoves and mechanical toys. Trust me, it's an experience you'll never forget.

this little museum is tucked away in a small backwater town. Not near any major highway You have s self guided tour or old cars old machines and musical boxes. Even dolls. Because it's so unusual and you need to make it a project to find it I think it's worth it. Before or after your tour you can go... More

i try to visit Bryant's every year. And there's always something to discover there! Any stove part can be found or fashioned and I have replaced my antique grate at reasonable prices here. The main draw though. Are all the quirky collections and the doll room. I am NOT into dolls but this room is amazing! The clever Bryant has... More
