Bring extra balls

Course in good shape. Fast greens roll well. Lots of slope. Hit it straight and keep the ball in play or you will pay dearly. Number of blind shots mean you need to trust your... read more

I've played this course three times in the last year and I love it! Staff is great, very friendly. On the third hole I chipped in for a birdie and the head greens keeper was watching, drove up and high fived me, he was great. Conditions were very good, fantastic greens. I come up from CT every summer and this... More

I hated this course. Should have known when we started on the 10th hole, my wife hit a beautiful drive right down the middle and the ball was lost ( there is a drop off straight out you can't see) I knew it would be a long day. The course is quirky and if you miss the greens not far... More

OMCG is an interesting Brian-Silva-designed course that is at the same time, enjoyable, frustrating, and odd. First, the goods. OM has an excellent practice area with an 18-hole putting green, and a wide hitting net, which you can easily kill an hour or more on. The undulating green foretells the challenging greens on the course (note: speed of practice green... More

You used to feel as if you were away from the maddening crowds when you played this course, prior to the last few years. Now they can't build houses fast enough, so instead of looking out over nature, you're staring into someones living room. The conditions have gone downhill in the last few years as well and the pace of... More

Course in good shape. Fast greens roll well. Lots of slope. Hit it straight and keep the ball in play or you will pay dearly. Number of blind shots mean you need to trust your swing. Course surrounded by homes and signage could be improved. Bring a GPS. Not a course for beginners. High handicap golfers - bring extra balls.

You could lose a lot of balls here if you spray it around. You can find reasonable prices too if you book on their website, and even a few on other golf websites. Considering the drought throughout New England it was in very good shape. The tees were pretty good and the greens were great. Maybe a touch on the... More

this is a beautiful course, and it was in great condition. it's been very dry this summer in maine, but the greens were fast and the fairways soft. it is a challenging course; lots of ups and downs. the staff was very friendly and although we didn't eat here, we were told the food was very good.

Hassle free signing in at the Pro shop. Amazed by the ENORMOUS putting green. Immediate disappointment by the condition of the tee box, the many, many unfilled divots on the fairway that clearly needed plenty of grooming. Bunkers need defining. The material was easy to play out of , but be careful of concealed small rocks and pebbles. The greens... More

Stay away. Save your money and play at The Links Berwick. Course is difficult and bring plenty of balls. The General Manager is a loser.

It's called The Old Marsh for good reason -- "marshy" areas everywhere. Hit it straight or you'll have very little chance of finding a ball in this course's rough areas. The narrow fairways make it a good challenge though. No driving range, just a net to hit into. They have an area with 18 putting holes (like mini golf but... More
