Much, much more reasonable than Ogunquit Beach and not nearly as busy. Nice view and a rocky beach in areas. Convenient if staying in Wells.

Very nice-the sound of the waves hitting the rocks and rolling the pebbles is especially nice. The water is cold and walking along the shoreline is very refreshing. There is a healthy smell of saltwater in the air- lovely

I don't know what the official rules there are regarding smoking. I have seen a few people smoking there, including the lifeguards.

There is a municipal parking lot (fee) off of Island Beach Rd. Follow walking path to jetty/beach area.
