This is a beautiful, small museum filled with hundreds of music boxes. It is fascinating to walk through and observe how music boxes have changed through the ages. You will be surprised at how elaborate some of them are. This is a perfect rainy day...More

The museum closed up suddenly, and left customers and employees down. My daughter left an antique to be redone and and now it is gone,no trace of the owner. Word has it he left the United States.

Just drove to Wiscasset to go to Museum and sign on door that museum is closed. They need to update website and signs in town to reflect this - too bad. Wonder what happened to all the music boxes.
