Mt. A has miles of hiking trails. Most of them are short and easy enough for the person in average physical health. One of the newer features is the mile long handicapped accessible trail that rings the top of the mountain. It's a great walk...More

The day we went to the mountain, it got more and more foggy as we increased elevation. By the time we arrived at the top, it was foggy and slightly rainy. The location is a former ski run. Looking at the various spots at the...More

We drove up to the top on a paved road. After we parked, we walked the one mile loop at the summit. It was cold and windy, but we still enjoyed the beautiful views. The views change as you walk the trail. You can see...More

I printed a trail map before we left just in case they were out. We parked on Mountain Rd and took the white Ring Trail to the left then right onto Blueberry Bluff to the top. We made it up in about 20-25mins. It was...More

A must do for everyone, beautiful scenery, easy access, hiking trails very well delineated, beautiful viewers. The best time to go during sunset, is magical, for photographers and enthusiastic a great opportunity to capture nature. Amazing place to commute with nature.

Late afternoon facing east at top of Mountain. Cast your shadow on the big rock. Take a photo or several. Many hiking trails and great views.

Signs around the look outs well define what is in your view. Display tells the story of the look out.

I take my dog (leashed) to Mt. A about twice/month. Trails are well-marked. Of course, there's the usual roots and rocks, but easy enough to hike through. Views from the top can't be beat.

It was windy and cloudy so we didn't dawdle but the views are very impressive. The displays help you understand what you are looking at as you view the vista. On a prettier day it would be quite tempting to stay and watch. We were...More

Took a drive to the top along some windy roads, saw the lovely fall colours on the trees, got envious of the people lucky enough to have the secluded locations here. The view from the top was wonderful, saw the coast and lots of trees...More

No swimming spots on mountain. Many lakes, rivers and ocean near by. Most motels have pools.. Enjoy the mountain; then enjoy a swim.

Mt. Agamenticus is only 500 feet tall, so it isn't the largest mountain in the area. Mt. A is southwest of Kennebunkport and southwest of Ogunquit.
