Great acoustics

Wonderful place to go for a concert. Any seat, anywhere in the auditorium has excellent sound and you can almost hear whispers.

This is a great venue for all sorts of performances. BSO concerts are the best. Great seating and sound. Parking is a breeze - easy in and out.

We saw Mannheim Steamroller. Though not overly happy with the show, the Concert Hall itself was extraordinary. The sound quality is superior to any place else we have been in the region, far better then the Kennedy Center's Concert Hall, and without a doubt, superior to the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore. Just beautiful. Aesthetically pleasing as well and very... More

This is one beautiful venue. It is very large and the sound fills the chamber. Dont know what else to say about it.. except, just awesome. Coat check, was fast in and out... I loved the food and beverage lounge and seating area... very nice! Would I go there again? Most assuredly!

This is local to us, so we have been there many many times for both indoor and outdoor events and the shows have been fun nearly every time. We keep going back because of the quality of the performances. We will probably go keep going there because we are neighbors, but every event leaves a bad taste in the mouth...The... More

This is a beautiful contemporary venue with free parking in an above ground parking building. Spacious. Modern designs and lines. People are mostly dressed up, but not all. If you have a chance to go, do.

I usually go a couple of times a year. The last event was back in September. Saw Brian Wilson Presents Pet Sounds. Previously, I have seen such diverse acts like The Hip Hop Nutcracker, Rain-A Tribute to the Beatles, and Video Games Live. Acoustics are good throughout the venue. Good sight lines from all seats. I would highly recommend seeing... More

My wife and I attended our first performance at Strathmore last night (Mike Mills and Bobbie McDuffie's Rock Concerto) and we're already anxious to return. The facility is beautiful with comfortable and spacious seating , the acoustics are great, ticket prices reasonable and the parking is not only convenient but free. While I was initially apprehensive driving from Northern Virginia... More

This is such a great venue with lots of excellent seating options. One unique aspect is for some performances they open up seating above and behind the stage, so if you enjoy really seeing all of the instruments in motion, I recommend giving it a try. I live near Strathmore and tend to go to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performances.... More
