This trail provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to get out and strech your legs while enjoying the natural beauty of Fishing Creek. The trail is primarily boardwalk through the marsh, which allows you to see working crab boats and fishing charters as well as osprey nests and shore birds. The trail splits after approximately 1/2 mile and if you... More

Beautiful scenery, highly maintained walkway with clear signs along the way. Several options and not too long. Highly recommend, especially on a nice evening. Take your camera.

We are big fans of the Rail Trail. We walk this several times a week. This is an easy walk suitable to all ability levels. One can easily walk, run or bike. The trail starts off the parking lot behind the water park. It can be a bit hard to find at first. Just follow the sidewalk near the townhouses... More

I walked the trail with my 3 year old granddaughter. We saw a lot of ducks including 4 ducklings. She was thrilling! There are a many different birds. We also saw a few fish. A very pleasant walk as well as a learning experience.

This is not an incredibly long trail, but it is one of my favorites, and always a refreshing break. It is fun for all seasons at any time of day. I have biked it, "powerwalked" it, strollered along with my baby boy, and kayaked and paddleboarded on the creek below. The beauty of the sights along the trail--the creek, wetlands,... More

It's a very scenic trail on Fishing Creek with an overlook and access from several points. Great for running, biking or nature watching for marine life or birds.

It was a nice walk we also biked on a double seater bike which was fun. Good for a morning and evening stroll.

Very difficult to find. Behind the water park. Only one signpost that I saw. Parking not particularly easy - a lot of spaces reserved for boat users. Once you find it and park, however, it is a lovely experience. Boardwalk is in excellent condition and easy to walk. Interesting facts presented as you walk . Very peaceful.

The boardwalk is a wonderful addition to the beach. You can walk or bicycle along the water and the marsh. If you come at sunset be sure to bring bug spray! The trail is not completely lit if the sun sets before you finish your hike. Nearby is a vendor who rents kayaks and paddle boards- another fun way to... More
