This trail starts right behind the parking lot behind the Marina located in Chesapeake Beach. It's also behind the Water Park. As soon as you pass the Water park heading northbound, take the road between the Water Park and the convenience store/gas station and follow...More

I love this trail. This is one of the reasons we moved into one of the adjacent neighborhoods running through the trail. There's plenty of nature to see and a decent amount of foot traffic as well as cyclists. Unfortunately there is no fishing allowed...More

The trail itself is really well built, and goes right through the marsh. We saw an osprey, a heron, and lots of red winged blackbirds. There are nice information boards along the trail. Unfortunately, there is a disgusting amount of pollution in the water under...More

Love looking at the marsh and wild life. Beautiful in every season. Fun to watch the fishermen bringing in their catch.

Beautiful scenery, highly maintained walkway with clear signs along the way. Several options and not too long. Highly recommend, especially on a nice evening. Take your camera.

Yes, but really only near the end of the trail - where there is an overlook platform/observation deck looking over Fishing Creek. May want to bring a flashlight with you though as it is about a mile and a half to 2 miles to... More
