This was well worth the stop on a nice summer day. The docent was well informed and educated. Also, VERY detailed which is what we like! A very nice stop in Maryland.

I am guilty of only recently visiting. Check out the Surratt Society. amazing it has survived all the development. Unfortunately, not enough people care about US history

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic docent, lots to see (more than I expected), brought history to life, learned a lot about Victorian life as well as Lincoln assassination.
