The Aviation Museum is based at the historic College Park Airport. This Airport had a major part in the early history of aviation. There are numerous antique biplanes, and some slightly more modern planes. My 7 year old grandson was thrilled for a couple of...More

We visited the museum and was so surprised how nice it was. There is a story to tell and they tell it wrong. Learned about the Wright brothers and their flight. Small but top rated. I would recommend all to stop and spend some time...More

Visited this museum a few weeks ago and found it a delightful experience. After negotiating several crowded museums, this was indeed a breath of fresh air. The museum contains interesting exhibits with lots of information that was new to me.

I am from the area and had no idea this existed! We rented the place for a private event so our experience might be different than many. I knew the history of the airport but not all the details. If you are anywhere near College...More

Small but I learned a few facts I never knew about the Wright brothers and the first helicopter. It was very close to the hotel and I did not even mind paying to go there!!

Kiddo loved this place. The static exhibits are ok, but the interactive stuff was a huge hit. We'll be back!

I wish more people knew about this place. A nice museum about the little known history of aviation in the College Park area. Kids would really love it here and I think adults would definitely find it interesting.

This museum is pretty small. You will probably get through in about 30-45 minutes. Though some of the narrative is interesting, it is a small museum at a small active airport.
