The building is interesting in architecture. Gift shop is average--may have specialty books about the area that are of interest. We boarded the train there for the trip to Frostburg--love the dining car and the staff seem to enjoy their jobs.

Little place offers lots. Here's where my husband and I decided to ride the GAP with our friends. The information we received convinced us and proved to be the best bike vacation I've ever had with my friends. They also offer great souvenirs and pack...More

The Cumberland Visitor Center and Gift Shop was very nice, informative and helpful. The building is a grand reminder of the classic days of train travel and Cumberland in its' past glory.

A wealth of info on what to do in and around Cumberland. Excellent location by the train station and the beginning of the passage and C and O canal trails. Very helpful staff.

This is a neat historic building, some statues out along the front, information inside with the park's service. A playground out front my son had to play on. The Maryland Western Railroad is here as is the C&O Canal.
